2019 MacBook Air and 2020 MacBook Pro to get new keyboard design
Apple has had a number of issues with its biutterfly keyboard in its MacBook range, the company is planning to replace it in the 2019 MacBook Air and 2020 MacBook Pro with a new design.
According to respected Apple Analyst Migh-Chi Kuo, Apple will replace their butterfly desigfn with a new scissor switch keyboard.
This will be introduced this year on the 2019 MacBook Air, Apple will also add it to their MacBook Pro when they release their new models in 2020.
The new scissor switch keyboard is a completely new keyboard design over what has been used before and it will apparently come with glass fiber to reinforce the keys.
Ever since the first butterfly keyboard was introduced four years ago, people have had problems with them, these have included keys sticking an other issues. It will be interesting to see what this new keyboard is like.
