Apple’s Siri Now Used On More Than 500 Million Devices
Apple’s first device for the home to feature Siri is launching soon, the Apple HomePod and the company recently revealed how many active users their voice activated assistant now has.
According to apple more than 500 million people use Siri on a monthly basis, this has increased from the last figure of 375 million back in June of last year.
The news of these updates users numbers were provided in Apple’s press release for the HomePod, the company said that ‘Siri, now actively used on over half a billion devices’.
Siri has only been available on Apple’s iPhone, iPad and the Mac so far, the HomePod is the first stand alone device that will come with Siri as one of its major features. If the device ends up being popular then we could see a significant increase in the use of Apple’s voice activated assistant.
The HomePod goes up for pre-order this Friday the 26th of January and the device launches next month on the 9th of February.
