The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is expected to launch in August. We have heard a number of rumors about the handset and now the device has been certified in China. The handset recently received certification from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CMIIT).
Two different model number of the handset have been certified in China, one with SM-N9608 and the other with SIM-N9600. These are probably the two Chinese variants of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Another one was spotted on Geekbench recently with the SM-N960U model number which is said to be the US version of the device.
The handset is rumored to come with a 6.4 inch display with a QHD+ resolution and it will come with two different processors depending on the country. Some countries like the US will get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and some others will get a Samsung Exynos 9810 processor.
The handset will come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, there will also be other storage options up to 256GB. The device will come with the latest version of Google’s Android OS, Android 8.1 Oreo and it will feature high end cameras on the front and back.
Samsung are expected to use the same cameras as the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. This would mean a front facing 8 megapixel camera for Selfies and video calls and a dual rear camera with two 12 megapixel Super Speed Dual Pixel cameras. As soon as we get some more details about Samsung’s next flagship device, we will let you guys know.
